9 foreign financers ready to fund Iran’s plane purchase

TEHRAN- Iranian Deputy Transport Minister Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan announced on Monday that none foreign financing companies from Asia and Europe have voiced willingness to fund Iran’s purchases of airplanes from giant airplane manufacturers, IRNA reported.

Making the remarks on the sidelines of the 5th International Exhibition of Rail Transportation, Related Industries and Equipment of Iran (RAILEXPO 2017), the Iranian deputy minister said that the nine financial companies are from Japan, Norway, Denmark, China, Ireland, and Britain.
Proceedings to hold a tender for selecting the financer are underway, he added.
